Thus it begins...

For some time now I've given thought to adding to my web site reviews of music I listen to. In part, this desire has sprung from the wish to spread the word of music that may not receive as much attention in the press due to limited distribution means (small labels or independents) or lack of exposure by "mainstream" media.

My life has been truly enriched by the generosity of many artists who have shared with me their work -- unasked and unrequired by my inclusion of web links -- and I would like to reciprocate in some small way. Hence these review pages.

The final form of these review pages is yet to be determined, but I'd like to indicate somehow on the "main" pages that a review of a particular artist's work exists; either through a direct link to the review, or through some iconic representation. I also don't yet know if I'm going to gather these reviews into separate pages or group them (alphabetically or otherwise). So be prepared for some flux as we both grow in this experiement together. :-)
